ድርጅቱ እንደሚለው፣ የጸረ ሽብር ህጉ አሻሚ የሆኑ አንቀጾችን በመያዙ ጋዜጠኞችን ለማጥቂያነት መዋሉን በአስረጅነት የጠቀሰው ሪፖርተርስ ዊዝ አውት ቦርደርስ  ፣ አዲሱ የቴሌኮሙኒኬሽን አዋጅም ጋዜጠኞችን እና ሌሎች ወገኖችን ሁሉ ለማጥቃት ሊውል ይችላል በማለት ስጋቱን ገልጧል።

ስካይፒና ሌሎች ዘመናዊ የመገናኛ ቴክኖሎጂዎች እንደማይታፈኑ አቶ ሽመልስ ቢናገሩም አቶ በረከት ስምኦን ግን ከኢኮኖሚና ከደህንነት አንጻር ስካይፒና ሌሎች የመገናኛ ቴክኖሎጂዎች ይታገዳሉ ማለታቸውን መዘገባችን ይታወሳል።
